The License To Steal band originated in Daytona Beach, FL in 1989 by four local musicians just looking to make some extra cash doing pick-up gigs during the local Bike Week events, opposite their regular bands. The name came about as a tongue in cheek kind of thing but one of the musicians, Billy Nolen, was folding the band he was running at the end of this particular Bike Week event and, liking the name decided to keep it and registered it through the state of Florida. As life so often requires, there were times that time had to be taken off from their true love of music due to life in general!!! Thirty one years later L.T.S. is still going and growing in notoriety!!!
Currently a five piece band License To Steal is well rounded, performing Southern Rock, Classic Rock, some Country and Blues as well as Originals!!!
The License To Steal band is;
Billy Nolen
